Lee, the calories that I need to gain lean body mas are 2800. 1.5 gr protein per pound are for me 214.5 gr in total. 100 gr of chicken has ~22 gr of protein and 170 Kcal, to meet my needs I have to eat 890gr of chicken per day, 1513Kcal. The same for carbs, than I need 429 gr (143×3) Example with oats, 100gr oats has 58gr Carbs and 353 Kcal, 429 gr (what I need daily) are 1514 Kcal, those are 3027 Kcal already and I don’t have healthy fats and just plain chicken and oats, totally wrong, right?

Lee i was useing MyFitnessPal for a while and I looked at my protein intake on an average day.. and it was only like 50 grams! and i weight 150 lbs! any tips on how to make sure I get more protein in?

Is it better/easier to first loose weight… and then bulk up with muscle. Or to eat lost of carbs and bulk up with muscle first…. and then loose the fat? Cheers, CR.
